Sometimes writing these news feels too much like Me, Myself and I. While actually it’s far from that. There’s so many people working on all these projects without whom they wouldn’t be possible and to whom I’m honestly very thankful. Now that the madness of release tour starts to fade away it’s for some remixes of album tracks. AVA is releasing total of three EPs during the coming months. First lined up is Gareth Emery’s remix of ‘Metaverse’ which in my humble opinion is one of his best ones till date and just perfect for summer months. Expect progressive beats and trancey atmospherics mixed with a massive rave riff coming in the breakdown. Already supported by all the big names.

Second coming up is my long time hero Jody Wisternoff (of Way Out West fame) with a summery & progressive remix of ‘Metaverse’. Beautiful strings with bubbling analogue sequences make it one his trancier works. This has already been licensed to Global Underground for their future compilation.

Third EP will feature some finnish remixes which we haven’t yet decided fully but my guess is that Allende’s prog trance and Syna’s more uplifting mixes will be there. All three EPs should be released during mid May and late June. Available exclusive for couple weeks at Beatport and after that in all good digi and record shops.

Thanks to everybody for the support! One year in the making but now it’s all over. Still couple posts coming soon about this all. All I can say (once again) that it was soooo much more fun and heartwarming than any of these figures say!

Musically John ‘00 Fleming deliver what I hoped meaning a kick ass big room psy trance set. His opening intro, remix of Junkie XL’s ‘Beauty Never Fades’, some great full on psy and closing with Tilt remix of Robert Miles’ ‘Children’ fit perfectly the main room vibe. I played a slightly more banging and “greatest hits” type of set as it was the closing set of the event. Highlights were Metaverse [Gareth Emery remix], Flight 643 remix, my YearZero remix and Unity as closing track seemed to go down well. Big thanks also to Nexus girls for performances during the set..

It’s always nice to dig lights, pyros or lasers but Saturday proved once again that it’s the people who make the party. Event was sold out with 3000+ people in total during the night. It was also great to see such a positive, good looking and enthusiastic crowd. Already up for it early on and lots of good old proper rave outfits everywhere. So let’s stop being sentimental with Labyrinth raves and the nineties. This is 2008. This is Now. And we’re loving it!
